Visual Intelligence for All

Enhancing the physical performance and health of buildings and infrastructure

Data is the key to efficiency in building management as well as corporate compliance. SPINVIEW NORTH AMERICA provides the data collection, cleansing and storage services which are needed to increase BIM efficiency and achieve IIoT for your assets.

Using SPINVIEW NORTH AMERICA to take steps towards creating a digital twin of your asset can help with achieving optimal operational efficiency, move from reactive maintenance towards predictive maintenance, plan for capital expenses throughout the life cycle of your asset, provide emergency preparedness, and attain corporate carbon footprint compliance.

Services

 ■    Data Management

 ■    Building Data Analysis & Simulation

 ■    Digital Data (COBie) Cleansing and Delivery

 ■    Digital Systems Delivery

 ■    Digital Floor Plans

These services effectively create an ongoing Digital Twin of your facility.

How It Works

Several Steps must occur to get to a Digital Twin for a Building Owner or City Planner

Using SPINVIEW NORTH AMERICA to take steps towards creating a digital twin of your asset can help:

  • Achieve optimal operational efficiency

  • Move from reactive maintenance towards predictive maintenance

  • Plan for capital expenses throughout the life cycle of your asset

  • Provide emergency preparedness

  • Attain corporate carbon footprint compliance

Data Management

  • COBie Data Collection (Construction Operations and Building Information Exchange)

  • Building Turnover Data Collection

  • Digital Twin Assessment (Existing Buildings and New Construction)

  • Digitalization of Building DataAssets and Systems

  • Data Cleaning for use in Digital Twin and Digital Visualization

  • Digital Data Creation for data portability to multiple Business Management Systems

Digital Floor Plans

Building Data Analysis & Simulation

  • COBie Data Collection (Construction Operations and Building Information Exchange)

  • 3D scanning for As-Built Model Creation

  • Existing Building Floor Plan Creation

  • Environmental Emissions Capture, Testing and Monitoring

  • LiDAR Scanning & Digital Visualization

  • Model cleaning (BIM & CAD) for use in Digital Twin and data visualization

  • IoT Sensor Integration into building visualization

  • Integration with simulation software platforms

Digital Systems Delivery

  • Digital system turnover is a valuable tool to use in the eventual goal of creating a digital twin of your building. Facility technicians can used the digital information to isolate systems and for work order management.

  • Once the system data has been collected and visualized, IoT (Internet of things) sensors can be attached to the 3D (or 2D) visualization of your asset, giving the user the ability to analyze the data by comparing manufacturer data, install data, and IoT sensor data to get the best possible picture of the performance of an asset. Eventually this data can also be used to run simulations to create scenarios for use in preventative and predictive maintenance

Digital Data (COBie) Cleaning and Delivery

  • The Digital Twin process starts with good data and the ability to access the data digitally. This BEFORE example shows what a typical data extraction would look like from a building information model or BIM model. Generic information about the asset is usually what you will get during the construction process such as Mechanical Equipment_20.       The type of fan coil unit may or may not be the one installed in the owner’s building, and space information usually is not available due to the way the model was initially setup. Other hints of bad data are missing descriptions of the asset and numerical tag numbers that have no descriptive properties.

Example: Before Cleaning

  • Our team works with architects, construction companies, engineering companies, sub-contractors and the owner of the building to collect the asset data in COBie (Construction Operations and Building information exchange) to make sure all information from the construction project is accurate, verified, as-built, and digitally transformed to the owners specifications. Only after this data is “cleaned” can the information be used for comparison to IoT sensors, analyzation, simulation, work order management, facilities management and to eventually to create a digital twin of your building. This AFTER example shows the transformation of bad data to the actual installed data of the owner’s assets
